Dual-core, menggabungkan dua processor, beserta cache dalam sebuah kemasan chip atau integrated circuit (IC). Keuntungan dual-core terutama pada cache coherency. Dengan dual-core komunikasi antara kedua die dapat dilakukan pada clock rate yang lebih tinggi. Dibandingkan jika memanfaatkan bus di luar chip. Dual-core processor juga disinyalir memerlukan catudaya yang lebih kecil, jika dibandingkan dengan sebuah sistem multiprocessor. Dual core memiliki inti ganda, sehingga "seolah-olah" memiliki dua prosesor dalam satu PC.

kemaren di pameran land mark braga bandung, pas saya liat2, harga prosessor dual core untuk yang 2.6 sekitar 900 rb.

tapi pas ngeliat ke BEC, koq harganya lebih mahal yah. sekitar 1.5 jt.

trus yang bener nich yang mana sich ..?? jadi bingung nich
